WhatsApp adds the auto delete feature in the latest beta

The instant messaging service WhatsApp has launched a new feature in the latest beta version for its application on Android and iOS systems, and it allows users to remove messages automatically after a specified time has elapsed.

The WABetaInfo website - which specializes in monitoring experimental features in the WhatsApp application - was the first to monitor the feature and said in a post: “In the latest updates to WhatsApp on Android and iOS, we discovered a new feature under development called (Disappearing Messages) and it will allow the messages to be removed automatically after specific time".

The site added that the first hidden clues to the feature were detected in the beta version number 2.19.275 from the WhatsApp app on Android. The site has published screenshots of the feature from the Group Info section, however, it has indicated that the feature may be available for individual chats as well.
And in the latest beta version 2.19.384, the site noticed some changes to the feature that WhatsApp is working on, including new duration options, and the feature was also renamed to Delete Messages.
